Stephanie Brasser joined Madison Women’s Health in 2013, specializing in the provision of care for our patients’ non-OBGYN healthcare needs.

Originally from the Sheboygan area, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Wisconsin – Madison, then worked in the Neuroscience ICU at University Hospital before pursuing more education. She obtained both her Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is certified as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a certification in obesity management in 2022. She brings a special interest in weight management, metabolic health and disease prevention that furthers our commitment to empowering women to strive for health and balance in their everyday lives. She also recognizes the importance of and need for mental health care, with experience in the management of depression and anxiety throughout the lifespan.

I value relationships with the women I care for and try to foster trust and understanding in each interaction in order to empower them to lead healthy, balanced lives.”
When not in clinic, Stephanie enjoys traveling, gardening and being active outdoors. She lives just outside of Madison with her husband and two daughters.
