Madison Women’s Health offers outpatient lab services at our clinic location by appointment. Many tests can be done on site, including:
- Blood counts
- Thyroid testing
- Urinalysis
- Pregnancy tests
- Rapid-strep testing
- Lipid (cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, LDL)
- Hemoglobin A1c testing.
We also coordinate with our reference laboratories, Meriter Laboratories and Mayo Medical Laboratories, and other specialty labs for many other tests as needed.
Madison Women’s Health employs highly trained professional staff with dedication to technical quality, superior service and confidentiality. Our laboratory technicians are Medical Technologists who are certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
Madison Women’s Health Laboratory is licensed by the federal government under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA ID#52D2005390), which requires strict guidelines for patient safety and accuracy. We submit to biennial onsite inspections to verify compliance with all federal regulations.
