Your Well-Woman Exam (WWE) is a preventive visit focused on routine care and screening to keep you healthy.

- Preventive exam
- Cervical Cancer Screening (if due)
- Breast exam (if appropriate)
- Birth control refills or routine medication management
- Preventive health counseling

Well-Woman visits are scheduled for preventive care only, and the appointment time is allotted for those services.
If you have concerns that go beyond preventive care—such as:
- Â Peri- or postmenopausal symptoms
- Â Abnormal bleeding
- Â Preconception discussions
- Â Fertility concerns
- Â Abdominal or pelvic pain
- Â New gynecologic problems
Your provider may or will recommend scheduling a separate problem visit.
This allows the provider to give your concern the time and attention you deserve.
