Teamwork at Madison Women’s Health Clinic

Blog
Patient Care
Teamwork can be defined as “the process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal.”   At Madison Women’s Health, our goal is to be there for our patients. How do we do that?  To inspire women to lead healthy, balanced lives so they can be the best version of themselves.

From the time you make your first appointment until the time you receive your last statement, you will see the teamwork of Madison Women’s Health staff in action, making it the best women’s health experience possible. We are there as a team for you.

Teamwork starts when a patient first calls our clinic. Patients are able to speak with one of our front desk staff without an automated, “press 1 to speak to the front desk, press 2 to speak with a nurse,” and so on. You get a live person to help you.

When you come to our women’s health clinic for your appointment, you are checked in by real people. You don’t have to go to a self-service kiosk to check in or have to get moved to 3 different areas to check in. There’s only ONE check in.

Once you are called back by one of our clinical staff, you are our focus. We want to hear from you. We want to know what your expectations are. We are part of your patient care team – a task we take very serious.

Teamwork continues with clinical staff. Our OBGYN physicians work very closely with our nurses and medical assistants during every visit and every procedure to ensure that the service we provide to you is excellent.  If you call with any medical questions or concerns, you are guaranteed that you will receive expert guidance.

Our laboratory and ultrasound staff are also very crucial members of our team. Attention to detail and efficiency, as well as amazing patient service makes these individuals key members of our staff.

Teamwork is evident in all types of visits. While many of you will never see our genetic counselor, those of you who have know how she can assist with informed decisions for genetic testing options.

Another area you many never see, but are impacted by, is our billing area. As it is our goal to make sure that billing is correct and you understand your financial responsibility – as determined by your insurance benefits. You have the option to call us or you can stop in and speak with our billing staff about any questions.

At Madison Women’s Health, the goal of our team is you, our patient. It takes many people to make this happen. We appreciate the opportunity to be there for you and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.
